Spring's Here!

Finally! I can wear a short T, I can wear my new sunglasses (that I've bought for only 15 NIS!), try my new sneakers (once again - bought for only 59 NIS in H&M) and take a walk and take some pics. Man, I really feel alive. I wrote this morning, from the bottom of my heart, and what came out was so beautiful to read afterward, and this incredible energy that fills my guts - It's been a while since I've felt it.
I was sick this week - Pneumonia unfortunately - but it was so good to lay in bed all day, gear up for Pesach (a jewish holiday) and clean my body from the daily toxins. I feel like I haven't felt since last October, when I decided to open up this blog after a weekend with my grandparents. And quite ironically - I'll go have another weekend with them very soon. It's a wonderful feeling that I haven't felt in a while - to be myself, to do what I love to do. I'm overwhelmed with things to do on a daily base - work, study, be OK with my parents, be in a relationship - they all consume my energy and I never have enough to write and take a walk and do something for myself.. I've went on a shopping spree 3 times in the past 2 weeks - something I haven't done since November!

So here's a resolution for the future, and luckily I'll have this post to remind me of it - take some time for myself, figure out what you want, who you are. Now that I know what I'll do in the future - a Labor Law lawyer FYI - I need to try and every once in a white take a break from this world and take some time for myself. Be alone a bit. Cause I haven't been alone in the last couple of months, and I've missed it so much...

Summer Nights

I've changed in the 6 years since I wrote this poem. I now let myself enjoy things, I let myself be happy. Though it doesn't come without a struggle, I feel warm inside more and more often, my laugh is purer this days, and I know now what love really is for the first time. And I even think I'm worth it...

This Means War

I swear I was about to write a post about summer and how beautiful these sunny days are - and the winter is peeping throughout the window again! What's happening here? one day I  wear a short T, and the next, my thick (yet very beautiful) winter-coat...
Yes, I know it's still March, but history has proved over and over that when Pesach (a jewish holiday) arrives, we fill our pockets with nuts and welcom the spring. But now our pockets will probably tear and we'll have to beg for the spring to come.
Don't get me wrong - I'm a huge fan of winter, as I've said over and over again in this blog. It's serene, it's beautiful and fills you with hope. But still - there is such a thing as too much winter, and I think I have reached this point - I want Spring. I want wite clouds, blue sky and a timid sun greeting us from time to time. I want to wear a bright skirt and sandals and go for a walk in the garden, and - above all - I want me and my love to be able to do a picnic without freezing our a**es off after just 2 hours...
But I think I'm complaining too much and it's only morning, so I'll just leave you with some more pics from the snowy friday we had a couple of weeks ago, and say some worlds about "This Means War".
We're talking here about one of the best films of 2012. It's truely a phenomenon - men see this film and go out satisfied of all the action and laughs, and girls go out loving Reese Witherspoon again. With Chris Pine and Tom Hardy on the cast who can be wrong? And they are even funny!... Seriously - I loved this film so much that I've watched it twice, and I won't mind seeing it again. It's highly recommended.

 

 

 

Long Overdue

On the last friday - it snowed in Jerusalem at last! It has been long and aching 4 years since the last time that it snowed enough to pile up and it was such an amazing view, that I couldn't resist - fashion! Vests! Poses!
So - enjoy watching the last note of the 2012 winter, which has brought so many changes into my life.
