Toughen Up

You shout it loud,
but I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud,
not saying much.
I'm criticized,
but all your bullets ricochet
you shoot me down,
but I get up.

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
fire away, fire away
ricochet, you take your aim
fire away, fire away
you shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
you shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium

Cut me down,
but it's you who'll have further to fall
Ghost town and
haunted love
Raise your voice,
sticks and stones may break my bones
I'm talking loud,
not saying much.

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
fire away, fire away
ricochet, you take your aim
fire away, fire away
you shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
you shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
Stone hard, machine gun
Fired at the ones who run
Stone hard, as bulletproof glass

you shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
you shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium

Law studies, jealous girls and opportunistic boys. I've faced them all. In my last prom a few weeks ago, I saw the harsh truth - I'm not taking many friends from my Law studies, and neither from International Reltions. I've met really good people, don't get me wrong, and studied with the best teachers. But it's a competitive profession, maybe even more than acting or music. And I've gotta toughen up. Luckily I have my friends and family, like my lovely sister, who accompanied me to the ball, to lean on.

Last Day of School

I have many reasons to be happy, I have many things to be excited about right now. One of them was finishing my degree and my last class as a student. I'll soon review the last 4 years with my most personal post yet. But first, let me brag some about my last outfit as a student.
I'll be the first to admit that while studying, I could have dressed better. But I've found my love for fashion during my studies, and found my personal style as well. But above all - I've learnt how to feel comfortable in my own skin. And that's the most important thing to feel good about yourself. That and some grooming of course :). Oh - and being careful in the sun (which I wasn't lately, but that didn't stop me from dressing up for my last day as a 1st degree student, nothing would have).
BTW - since it's always better to spend good times with people you care about, and since my classmates have already finished their studies - who's better to spend the last coffee break with than my sister. Thank's for that sis. It was just what I needed.
Till the next degree!!!
